TVA's Melton Hill Campground is located in Loudoun Co. TN, upstream of the Melton Hill Dam. The campground is a demonstration site for clean energy, which features wind and solar power technology. There are a total of 55 campsites, all equipped with a picnic table, fire pit, and a grill. There are 31 sites that include water and electricity and 4 of them are ADA accessible. The campground also contains 5 RV sites and 9 tent-only sites located near the waterfront. Enjoy a hot shower in one of the two bathhouses located in the center of the campground. Near the swimming area, 2 picnic pavilions are available for the whole family to enjoy. Visit TVA's Day Use Area webpage for reservation information. Additional recreational opportunities include boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming and hiking. Several easy TVA trails offer opportunities for wildlife observation and a walk through an old cemetery!

Directions - Take exit 364 on Interstate 40, proceed north approximately 0.7 mile and turn east into the Melton Hill Dam Reservation.
Then go about 1.6 miles to campground entrance.
Waste disposal is located between campsites 1-10 and the boat ramp. Place all trash in dumpsters except fish debris. Please contact the campground host on duty for pick up and disposal of fish scraps. Dumping waste or gray water onto the ground is prohibited
Pet Friendly Notes
Only 2 pets per campsite are allowed and must be on a leash or caged at all times. Pets are prohibited on beach, adjacent picnic areas and inside bathrooms. Owners must pick up after their pets.
